Local Group Exchanges

Whereas other events in ESTIEM invite participants from all the other universities in the network, the concept of Local Group Exchanges is for students of two Local Groups to visit each other in turn. This allows students of the same university to travel in bigger groups.

Activity weeks

Activity weeks are events in which people from different countries come together. Simple as that!

Council Meetings

Organised twice a year and gathering 200 active students from all Europe, the Council Meeting is the largest event in ESTIEM. It covers the general assembly of the organisation, but also consists of working groups, both aimed at sustaining and further developing ESTIEM.

Coordination Meetings

As the name implies, the Coordination Meetings seek to coordinate the work of specific entities within central ESTIEM, such as the Board, Committees and Projects. These are smaller than the Council Meetings, commonly with 5 to 15 participants. In addition to this there are so-called Regional Coordination Meetings, which gathers nearby Local Groups, to discuss common issues in that region.

Training New Trainers

Professional development is a fundamental concept in ESTIEM, of which our training culture is an important part. Therefore we organise events dedicated to educate our own trainers, who i turn can deliver trainings to other students in ESTIEM.

Case studies

In addition to our pan-European case study competition TIMES, there are several locally organised case competitions. These include the Solvay Business Game in Brussels, the Case Study Show in Belgrade and the Company Case Show in Skopje.
